Surely enough, you shouldn’t use it to often. Here are some tips:
Start with one push notification per week. Find out which type of message attracts most attention, and you can experiment later.
Decide when you will send your message. Notification that appears at 3AM won’t make your customer happy and reminder about Valentine’s day on 15th of February won’t give any benefits.
Stay secret. You don’t want your customer to delete your push notification right after he reads it, right? Attract him to open your app to see more information or to play your game!
Compliment them! There is nothing better than receiving a pat on the shoulder after a hard day of work. And think about the possibilities, if your compliment is followed by your special offer…
